Friday night movie night is a regular feature in our home. We are always looking for the best movies that are appropriate for children, a.k.a. not scary or have tons of fighting in it–because they’re still young and sensitive. But I’m not gonna lie. It’s a challenge to find sweet, artistic and entertaining films for children and adults alike–until Bluey comes out with a feature-length film. But it’s not impossible. There really are so many great films that have been made over the years, and Friday night movie night is our family’s way to sharing in this artistic expression.
Movie nights are great because they provide an opportunity to come together, snuggle up, and embark on magical journeys in the cinematic realm. We often have appetizer night around the coffee table, and then snuggle up and watch a movie. My kids look forward to it every week!
